Emil Frey Group - Comprehensive world of cars

At the age of 26, the company’s founder, Emil Frey, decided to become independent. Using a repair shop for cars and motorcycles, the enthusiastic mechanic turned his passion for engines and racing into a profession. In 2014, Emil Frey Group celebrated the 90th anniversary of its existence.

Many victories won by Emil Frey on his motorcycle did not fall into his hands by chance. As a diligent business person, he could not start racing on the circuit earlier than on Saturday afternoon, while his rivals had already been training there for several days. Even despite his enormous fascination with racing, Emil Frey always followed his principle: work first, fun later.

Thanks to his tenacity, long-term vision and enduring commitment, he and his son Walter Frey created the company Emil Frey Group, which has been one of the leading companies in the automotive industry for several decades.

The Emil Frey company found its way to the Czech Republic in 1993 when it became Subaru’s importer for our market. Apart from that, the company has several other brand dealerships, such as Kia, Suzuki and Toyota. In 2016, Emil Frey Group also became the exclusive importer of the French cars Citroën and Peugeot, strengthening its activities on our market.
